CH_bed_web

The interest in spending the night in Carsten Höller’s work Two Roaming Beds (Grey) has been great and all the accessible nights soon got fully booked. We are now happy to announce additional dates for overnight stays in the beds.

For students, unemployed, members and seniors November 12th and January 14th can be reserved for the special price of 2300 SEK. Remaining additional nights will be sold for a higher cost selling price.

The work consists of two identical robotic beds, clinical in their appearance and with an automatic steering system. The two beds wander round the exhibition space, one of them leading the other in a synchronized latteraly reversed pattern. Attached to the beds are pens that draw patterns on the floor as the beds move, thereby leaving a trace that becomes part of the exhibition.

You will also get an introduction to the exhibition, breakfast att Miss Clara, a copy each of the extensive exhibition catalogue Insomnia, a box of toothpastes created by Carsten Höller (part of the art work).

Two Roaming Beds (Grey) is produced by Bonniers Konsthall in collaboration with Hayward Gallery/Southbank Centre in London and HangarBicocca in Milan. We would also like to thank Miss Clara Hotel, collaborating partner of Bonniers Konsthall.
