Collected Works! Art’s Expression

Wed 25 may 20166:00 pm

An evening of talks on contemporary Swedish art

Since its foundation 30 years ago, the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation has consistently sought out the new and innovative, and championed the young artist. Past grant recipients work within a wide variety of artistic fields, methods and expressions. The resulting collection, which now constitutes the exhibition at Bonniers Konsthall, provides a glance into each type of art and time frame, but also provides an overview of the developments to have taken place over a period of three decades. This evening’s events will be led by Niclas Östlind, as he hosts a discussion with a few of the exhibiting artists around the question: what has taken place in the Swedish contemporary art world since 1986?

Niclas Östlind is a freelance curator, writer and editor of Collected Works! 30 Years with the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation, being published alongside the exhibition.
