Exhibition architecture

An important part of the exhibition architecture are the so-called Sun Balloons, light screens powered by solar energy. The heat of the sun unfurls a balloon, which, if necessary, covers the façade of Bonniers Konsthall. Thus, the power of the sun visually affects the exhibition architecture and provides it with a living and moving element that corresponds to the changes in the weather and light.

The Sun Balloons are made by:
Klas Ruin and Ola Broms Wessel / Architect Office Spridd
Peter Kjaerboe / KTH, School of Industrial Engineering and Management
Sailmaker Peter Håkansson
