For an hour during the opening of The Spiral and the Square Arto Lindsay and his band transformed the exhibition room into a concert hall/club.

Arto Lindsay is a multifaceted musician, who has spent decades crossing geographical and musical boundaries. Much of his inspiration comes from Brazilian music, as well as from Brazilian art, since he has long been active both as an artist and a curator. Arto Lindsay was born in 1953 in Richmond, Virginia. He lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
